Pre-Order for Love Me Once

 Good evening, readers!

I've got Love Me Once (Book Three in the Infamous Forresters' series) up for pre-order at Amazon. Well, I am doing Kindle Unlimited with this release - the first time ever. I thought I should try to see if I gain some additional readers.

Here's the new blurb:

His mistress is England. His love is Shelene Hightower.

To have one is to lose the other.

Roman Forrester knows he must change, or he will lose Shelene forever. Learning that her father, Commodore Hightower, has been lost at sea makes their reunion awkward and heartbreaking. Roman’s brother, Oliver, Hightower’s second in command was also lost.

To have him is to have a half-life.

Shelene has already given up hope they will ever find happiness. When he returns to her once again, it is not in joy, but with the news of her father's death and that he is leaving to find out what happened to her father and his brother. She can’t fault him, but she can’t forgive him for leaving her again.

Roman can keep England, she is going home to Spain to reclaim her mother’s family estate and learn to live again. Without him.

I've moved my release date to August 3rd. As always I look forward to your reviews!

Coming Soon! An Inadvisable Wager

I just typed THE END last night on my newest Regency romance. This is the third book in The Curse of the Weatherby Ball series. Off to my editor!

I made a mistake in this series. I had the cover finished for this book very early on, but then I ended up finishing Book Three (Not Your Average Earl) before Book Two. Ooopsy!

So here's the blurb:

Nora Blasington’s curse is that she was born to the notorious George Blasington, renowned thief and traitor. Avenging her father is her lot in life and she is determined to prove that three ton gentlemen illegitimately benefited, stealing her father’s properties. Properties that rightfully belonged to her brother, the 4th earl of Wargrove.

Only they are dead and can no longer reveal their secrets. No bother! She will wreak vengeance on the sons of the Wicked Three since they have what she wants: Henbury Hall, the Cornish tin mines and the Henbury stallions.

At the Weatherby Ball she catches the eye of the Earl of Carlow, the current owner of Henbury Hall. He willingly falls into her trap. Nora thinks the ball curse has worked in her favor.

What she doesn’t know is that Graham Sutter is quite taken with the mysterious and oddly dramatic beauty.

Though he might have been more cautious if he’d known Nora Blasington was hiding behind the mask. Oh hell, he had to marry at some point. It might as well be tonight, and it might as well be to the woman who’d just tried to blackmail him.

I love this cover. Another great one by Dar Albert.

What am I working on now?

The last few months have been a challenge for us all, but I'm happy to say that my two contemporaries are done! I've just finished final edits for Pinnacle, which releases on September 15th. Just a reminder to pre-order because it is on sale until release day!

For the next twelve months, I have an ambitious goal. I'm working on four Regency novels. Gulp! Can I do it? I'm pretty sure because the stories are all about half finished.

So what are they?

I'm going to do two more in the Wicked Affairs series currently titled Wicked Ember and Wicked Shades. The protags have been mentioned in other books but I will surprise you with a later post (I've mentioned them before so if you're REALLY curious, you could probably find out.)

The other two are books in existing series. One in the Infamous Forresters and the other in The Curse of the Weatherby Ball. So this is a little surprise for you. I've had theses covers done for a while. Now, I have to say that for me, writing a certain novel is about working on the one that "takes" you in the moment. So, even though the covers are done for these novels, other books took me first.

Aren't these just beautiful covers? Dar Albert delivers again! I am especially in love with An Inadvisable Wager cover. I think it is my second favorite cover ever!!!! I'm right in the middle of writing a fantastic card game scene for this novel. Of course, they are at the Weatherby Ball so who knows what might happen.

As for A Wife Is Forever, I'm not sure that will be the final title, but I'll keep you posted.

So what do you think of my Regency surprises for the day?

Mad Duchesses Anthology

Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to re-release the Mad Duchesses anthology on August 15th, a four book series about widows (who happen to be duchesses) looking to start life anew.

In this anthology are the novellas titled: One Last Night, From Now On, Age of Innocence and The Day After. Three of the four stories I just LOVE. That's correct, I don't 'love' everything I write but I'm not going to tell you which one so you'll have to read them all.

I've already done new covers for the stand-a-lone novellas and I'm doing a new cover for the anthology, which I will post soon. If you've read one, but not the others, I'm going to run a special .99 cent sale for 30 days (up until the release of my next contemporary on September 15th) so you can get all four for a great price!

During CV19, I was busy completing the two-book contemporary series about the Charbonneau Twins - hope you've gotten to read PEAK, which has already release. PINNACLE doesn't release until September 15th though. These stories were bugging me for about seven years and the characters wouldn't go away. Glad to have them all on paper now!

So, now I'm planning out my 2021 release schedule. Maybe I'm being a bit too ambitious but I'm shooting for FOUR regency romance releases! Can I do it? EEK! I'm going to try since several of them are already halfway to the finish line. I am determined to finish the WICKED AFFAIRS series and I have two books to go: Wicked Ember and Wicked Scandal.

Look for the new cover coming soon! And re-release date of August 15, 2020!!

Release Day: A Mistress To Remember

Hi all! It's time for the release of the much anticipated A Mistress To Remember. This is Book Three in the Birds of Paradise series, so you know it's going to be steamy. It's up for pre-order now on Amazon with a release day of September 26th (I think the 27th everywhere else.)

Here's the blurb:

Baroness Katrina Klee is an outsider looking in. Born in Russia and raising her three half-English/half-Russian sons while trying to fit in English society is a continuing challenge. When Mark Turnbow, the Earl of Compton, seeks her out as his mistress, she is intrigued. Giving into such a temptation involves weeks of passion and exploration. While their search for the ultimate pleasure is rewarding, Katrina is injured in their play.

And worst of all, her secret affair is discovered by her sons' guardian. His threats are real. Give up her sons or give up her lover.

If you've read The Darkness in the Marquess of Dane, you might remember Mark Turnbow. He is the brother of Christina, who is now married to the dark marquess, Luc Conover.

And, I have to say, another wonderful cover from #Dar Albert. I just love this one:

And, the good news, there is one more story left in this series. Book Four brings the Birds of Paradise series full circle. Let me start at the beginning.

In Another Lover, Isabella St. Hillaire takes her final lover, Dorian Montgomery. She was pursued by the dark marquess, Dane, but rejects him for the Scottish ship magnate - the final lover she has dreamt about...

In The Darkness in the Marquess of Dane, Luc Conover is approached by the virginal Christina Turnbow, willing to sell the last thing she has of value in order to save her family.

Now, in A Mistress to Remember, Christina's brother Mark Turnbow finds an exquisite treasure in Russian émigré Katrina Klee.

Finally, in a book I have tentatively titled. His High Seas Temptress, Christian St. Hillaire, captain on one of Dorian Montgomery's ships, finds a stowaway who is desperate to return to England. She claims to be a countess. Christian might have thrown her overboard if he'd realized she was also the Marquess of Dane's cousin.

Another Lover new cover/Birds of Paradise

I may not be getting new work published but I am catching up on getting all of my "rights reversion" books re-published.

So, Another Lover. One of my favorite books. This is one of the only books where I knew the ending lines before I ever started writing the novella. But even though I'm a punster, I don't let my characters meander.

The series, Birds of Paradise, is all about women in unique circumstances in which they take lovers. The stories are also tied, in a way.

Another Lover is about Isabelle St. Hillaire, the Westminster Whore, and the final book will be about her brother, Christian St. Hillaire, captain of a sea-going vessel owned by Isabelle's new husband. This final book is started but not yet titled.

Book two, one of my bestselling books, is The Darkness in the Marquess of Dane. Dane was the dark character in book one who wanted to purchase Isabelle's favors. In DMD, we find out why he is such a troubled, dark soul. His lover, Christine Turnbow, needs money and she sells herself to Dane to save her family. Only she saves Dane's soul instead.

Christine's brother, the earl of Compton, Mark Turnbow, is featured in book three, currently titled a Mistress to Remember. He takes a lover after his wife dies with no thought to marriage. I'm on the last chapter of this book and will have a blurb out on this shortly.

Two families, four love stories. All of the books are very sexual, so I've warned you.

About the Another Lover covers: The lovely Dar Albert did both of these. I loved the first one, but man, oh man, did Dar outdo herself on the second one. Tell me which one you like better.

Here's the new one. Just fabulous, I think
And the original...

Another Lover will be re-published this week! Hope you'll pickup your digital copy and fine retailers near you...
